You may already have everything ready but… Do you know how to consume, or rather, how CBD is used? In today’s blog we tell you everything.
Before knowing its different modes of use, we must know what CBD is, its benefits, and possible side effects.
What is CBD?
CBD is a compound from the cannabis sativa plant that has revolutionized the concept of cannabis completely. Its properties and benefits have positioned cannabidiol as one of the best alternatives to solve various problems.
Cannabidiol, thanks to its anti-inflammatory and anxiolytic properties, among others, has made it possible for people with stress and anxiety levels, rheumatological diseases, inflammations or chronic pain to benefit.
However, cannabidiol can produce mild side effects such as dizziness, loss of appetite, etc. Therefore, we must know what its correct use is to take advantage of all the benefits without any impediment.
How CBD is consumed
The first thing we should know before we get into the ways of using CBD is its legislation. Depending on the country in which we are, the consumption of CBD will be legal, or not. In the case of Spain, CBD is only allowed as a topical use or as a collector’s item, but not for human consumption.
However, other countries do allow the consumption of CBD in all its forms, so if you are reading us where the consumption of CBD is legal, take note!
Sublingual
The sublingual route involves putting a few drops of CBD under the tongue, holding them in the mouth until they are absorbed into the oral mucosa. This method requires no prior preparation and its effects can be felt quickly. This method is the favorite of many because it is a quick, easy, and discreet mode of use.
In the case of Spain, this method of use is not allowed, but without a doubt in countries where it is legal, this use is one of the users’ favorites. Is it yours too?
Topical
This form of use is used to mitigate localized pain such as inflammation, it is the perfect method to notice the effects of CBD in those countries where sublingual consumption is not allowed, “I mean”: Spain.
When applying CBD topically, the oil passes through the skin directly to the site of inflammation or pain and can significantly improve the effects.
By applying a certain number of drops on the hand and then spreading it over the area to be treated, we will see that the positive effects of using CBD will become noticeable almost immediately.
Inhalation
When inhaling CBD, cannabidiol enters the lungs and diffuses through the alveoli until it reaches the blood, producing almost instantaneous effects. While it’s not always the healthiest way to consume CBD, many users prefer the more relaxing effect produced by smoking or vaping.
In short, the ways of using CBD are numerous and it is up to you how to use CBD, you just have to choose your favorite hemp flowers or oils and start enjoying the benefits of CBD consumption.
This way of using CBD is also not allowed in Spain.
